EXCURSION IN SPILINBERGO
Friuli Venezia Giulia region, as Italy itself, is rich of hidden villages, some of them simply are little pearls. Spilimbergo is surely one of those. Not far from the right hand side of the Tagliamento river, Spilimbergo has even been elected as "Italy Jewel" in 2013. The narrow strees which lead to the amazing Duomo square, are filled with antique trades shop and typical "osterie" offering dishes from the tradition and a wide selection of top level local wines. City of history and arts, is woldwide famous for its mosaiks, is also location of the important and crowded Folk Festival.
