Udine, one of the most important sites of the Friuli Region, simply is a high class city, full of interesting turistic sites, cultrure and enogastronomical ideas. The best way to know Udine is to leave the car in one of the nearby center parks, and let your self be involved by the quiet and relaxed mood of the streets leading to the city center. The Castle, real historical and architectural fulcrum of the city with it's massive colonnade and its rich gardens, which often are location for top level events and concerts, one of the many squares full of important braned shops or some of the cosy typical restaurants and "osterie" where you may taste the real traditional food and wine.
